Aji Ichiban is a large snack food franchise that was established in Hong Kong by Lai Chan Yuk Hing and Lai Hin Tai in 1993. The stores sell a wide variety of products ranging from dried fruits, to plums, and to Soyaki scallops. Aji Ichiban USA was founded in 2010 with location across many states in the US. There are a total of 4 locations country-wide, with 2 locations in California, 1 location in Illinois, and 1 location in New York.
Currently, Aji Ichiban of Los Angeles has 2 locations located in Monterey Park and San Gabriel. As of 2013, all other locations closed, except for the 2 locations in Southern California.
